Based in Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country, Australia, I work in the Independent underground music industry. While music is my profession, I am also an avid gardener, cook, and hooper.

My current active bands are YLVA, Rinuwat, and High Tension.

From a young age, I identified as a musician, and found engineering as a means to understand the intricacies of sound. Over the last two decades, it became my craft and career. I love my job and am a steward of all things music, and have dedicated my life’s work to the understanding and exploration of. 

Through the years my love for music has manifested in various roles within the grassroots music economy— from booking shows and managing bands to founding an independent record label, and establishing a recording and rehearsal facility in Adelaide. Describing my career as a facilitator, I take pride in contributing significantly to the underground Australian music industry. I've played a part in bands finding audiences, offering pressings and distribution for local releases, providing employment to strangers and helping others achieve their dream studio recording experience.

My personal love for the process and playing music with others has driven it all.

Music, like everything, is a class system, but music is also a language; a language we can all understand no matter how it’s told to us. 

As for my personal tastes and exploration, it has always had me using tools of volume, distortions, dramatic and unorthodox writing. I love slight variances like deliberately being a little out of tune or out of time with purposeful intent. My tastes and exploration of music is a deliberate colouring outside the lines.

At times it has to take the back seat, but I’ve been lucky enough to play music all around the world and am looking forward to where my guitar takes me next.

Both my work and lifestyle match my ethics and values, I’ll work in exchange for a little creative danger..
